We’re Booked

9 Nov

We have tentative flight reservations. We are flying out on December 8 for arrival in Tel Aviv on Thursday, Dec. 9. Yikes! All of a sudden this move has become real and my mood urgent. I’ve been researching for months on how to transport Baxter and Lulu. Should we take them in-cabin with us? Should we have a pet shipper handle them for us? Should we dope them up and let them travel in the cargo hold of the plane. Should we drive to Philly or Newark so we can get a direct flight to Tel Aviv? Well, all the research I did and the possibilities I fretted over were for naught. Brad’s employer stipulates we must fly Continental out of Dulles and change planes in Newark. No, we can’t go with Lufthansa who would have allowed us to take the kitties in-cabin. No, we can’t drive to Newark and avoid the domestic leg of the trip. So, there was no choice whatsoever. I was relieved to learn that Continental’s PetSafe program is said to be one of the best in the industry.
